. live in berkeley alex savidge ktvu channel 2 news. >>> oakland say four people were wounded in a late night shooting. investigators say there are two crime scenes in connection to the shooting. atat 10:20 p.m. police responded to shots fired. officers discovered a stray bullet had wounded an apparent innocent bystander in his 50s heading to a liquor store. >> it's still early on. th investigation just -- the investigation just happened. we have our officers canvassing the area. >> all the victims are reportedly in stable condition. police have not yet made any arrests but say they have potential suspects. >>> we are back on storm watch this morning. new system is expected to ramp up making it the wet roads again. the wet weather arrived late yesterday with the heaviest showers up in the north bay. in mill valley workers at goodmans hardwood store hope sandbags will keep the water out. we talked to customers who were also making storm preparations. >> i bought a hat and rain boots. why? because everything is slushy and wet and don't want to get sick. >> the latest storm not expected to

berkeley's fourth homicide of the year so far. live in morning in berkeley, alex savidge, ktvu channel 2 news. >> thank you, alex. >>> a man walking to a liquor store was among four people shot near oakland's lake merritt. investigators recovered dozens of shell casings at two separate crime scenes. at 10:30, officers were called to east 18th street. three people in their 20s have been shot there. two men and a woman. meanwhile, a stray bullet had wounded an apparent innocent bystander, heading to a liquor store a few blocks away. all of the victims are recovering in the hospital this morning. coming up at 7:30 a live report on what kind of weapons police think were used in this attack. >>> 7:03. grab an umbrella. we have rain. more of it moving into the bay area, coming down pretty good causing problems all over the bay area. ktvu's brian flores is live near larkspur right there. i can see you're wet. coming down pretty good. >> reporter: yeah, probably about a couple of minutes ago, dave, the rain started pouring pretty good here. yeah, but steve's been talking about it all morning. we

drakes beach. ktvu channel 2 news. >> thank you, jana. >>> once again protesters took off their clothes today as san francisco supervisors gave final approval on a ban on public nudity. as we've been reporting the ordnance stems from complaints about knew diss in the city's castro district. violation of their free speech rights and say they will fight it. >> this is amazing. we are really leading a world battle against oppression. >> i gave this about two years to run its course and rather than running its course, it got more extreme. >> now, mayor ed lee signs off on the ordnance, the ban would begin february 1st. it includes a $100 fine for each violation. >>> well, the home with cultural ties to san francisco's hippy movement suffered serious damage in a fire today. as lor rain blanco reports it appears the fire in the haight ashbury neighborhood may have been sparked by marijuana growth. >> firefighters cut into the rooftops of two homes in haight this afternoon to stop a fire brewing in their attic. as you can see here in this video from news chopper 2. investigators believe it sta

the next several months. reporting live in downtown san rafael. amber lee, ktvu channel 2 news. >>> along the coast, caltrans crews have been busy trying to stabilize a known trouble spot in san mateo county. the crews have been trying to mitigate the erosion. traffic was reduced to one lane between linda mar and pacifica and the north portal bridge area of devil slide. and in the santa cruz mountain crews are still trying to shore up vine hill road in scotts valley. county officials say restoring at least one lane is a top priority because it's a crucial connection to highway 17 and the silican valley. crews told us they wanted to get that lane open by today but now the hope is it will stay open by tomorrow afternoon. >>> live storm tracker 2, showers north of the area. san rafael as you just saw. you can see most of the activity the real heavy stuff is up here north of sacramento. it's coming a little closer. we head out toward the north bay. that's where the heavier showers have been. they've been moderate to light. santa rosa, but you see it's widely scattered right. there'

good for everybody. >> they are lucky no one is without utilities and no homes are threatened. ktvu has used bay area storms interrupted phone service for the san francisco fire department twice this week. the fire department said heavy rain on friday knocked out service for phones with a 555 prefick am and that is the emergency center on turk street. the outages did not effect 911 calls or dispatch calls. service was fully restored 90 minutes ago. >> you can go to ktvu.com for any time on the weather and traffic conditions. coming up in 13 minutes. how sfo was impacted by the morning rain. >>> berkeley police are making an appeal for witnesses in the shooting of a female bicyclist. she was shot down near the school on sacramento street. just after 11:30 last night. 911 callers reported a bicycle crash and officers realized she had been shot. she died at the scene. they don't know if she was targeted or randomly shot. it is the fourth homicide of the year. >> even one is unacceptable. but we would like to find out how this happened and who did this. if anyone has information, we app
